My little red Vespa - A Sweet Muddle

A little while back you might recall me mentioning that I spent one very hot weekend on a two-day motorcycle rider training course.

Why you might ask? Well, as I’d rather keep A Sweet Muddle a place to share positive things, let’s just say that I’d been a little frustrated by our public transport system since returning to Sydney.  Perhaps I’d been a little spoilt over the past 9 years in London when it comes to expectations on public transport.

So while I was sitting, waiting for various buses and trains, I had a lot of time to daydream and one of my recurring dreams concerned a rather cute, shiny red Vespa.  With the premature arrival of summer here in Sydney, I thought a Vespa would be the perfect solution to my transportation problems and a really fun way to get about town.

So that is how I found myself sweating it out on a training course a couple of months back, and then sitting my knowledge test.

And I’m excited to share with you all that I’ve actually bit the bullet and bought myself this little beauty, which has become my latest obsession.  What do you think?

Hopefully I’ll be able to put it to good use in the coming months exploring some new finds around Sydney to share with you all.  I can’t wait!

Have a great weekend everyone.  If I can drag myself away from my little red Vespa for a little while, I should hopefully have something tasty to share with you all soon.

I can see why it’s an obsession Rachel, she’s beautiful and what a lot of fun for this summer in Sydney, zipping around the city and beaches. Look forward to lots of Italian themed food as you get into the Vespa life. All the best Jen x
